Our Focus
Community Advance Project is a registered Charity working to engage and support communities, particularly vulnerable or marginalised communities. We work across London with all Communities, however our primary focus is East and North London, BME and Refugee communities. CAP is both a frontline and a second tier support organisation.

These are a few of our programs. We work with a variety of communities and multiple partners to develop programmes that are beneficial to our communities and have a real impact on the lives of individuals and community organisations.

Community Health
ButtonHealth is a key component of individual and community life. We have strong links with grassroots community organisations from various ethnic communities, and we are able to engage communities in helping to devise and access health services that truly meets the health needs of the local communities and has an impact on their health.

Social Issue Videos
ButtonWe produce videos that are relevant to the issues facing the communities we serve.
We are experienced at producing professional DVDs to meet any requirement from any of the sectors. We have equipment and staff ready to undertake projects of any size or topic.
CAP specialises in producing succinct campaigning information DVDs that can be used by voluntary sector organisations to raise issues to a wide spectrum of audiences. Please see DVD Productions for examples of our work.

Organisational Support
ButtonCommunity Advance Project is both a second tier support organisation and a frontline service delivery organisation. We are ideally placed to understand the development support needs of small organisations. We have extensive expertise in developing the progression of organisations.

Women of Faith
ButtonThis 60 minute documentary looks at the lives of three women who have found that faith helps them in their lives, discovering faiths which they did not grow up in. The film looks at their beliefs, their interests, and what motivates them.
Modgala found faith in Buddhism, and has been ordained as a Buddhist Nun.
Jumana began practicing Islam after her experiences in Jordan and London.
Sarah was brought up as a Christian and became a Bahá’í through a close friend.

Older People
ButtonCAP is keen on providing a range of services particularly for BME and refugee older people. Ranging from exercise classes, befriending support and lunch clubs to giving a voice to the needs of older people and campaigning for better services and rights of older people. We have staff and volunteers who have vast experience of working with older people.

Young People
ButtonOur services for young people focus on multi-media and creativity. We help to build transferable skills and confidence in communication, building working relationships, and project management. Facilitate young people to take leadership roles to voice issues of concern to them and their communities.
Partnership projects with Arcola Theatre to deliver scriptwriting and video production workshops. Young Carers support with Family Action and Barnardo's. Drugs and Alcohol addiction support with Hackney Drugs and Alcohol Addiction Team.
